Why not take the Ferry? People constantly complain of not having time and suffering from stress. They want to use any opportunity they can to save time, and so when they travel abroad they are very tempted to take a flight over. Yet whilst that may be a shorter journey it is still quite stressful, with so many hoops to jump through and constant moving to and fro, where sometimes the flight is the only time you can relax, and that's not for very long. Also, what if you live by the coast, where there is unlikely to be a major airport? Both of these questions are answered by the existence of ferries.
Ferries allow you to make the journey part of your holiday. Instead of being strapped to your seat, they allow you to wonder around, enjoying a restaurant or a bar or a games room or some entertainment, or maybe to wander on the deck and look at the sights or the birds or just the open sea, with vistas that can be just breathtaking. Some trips, particularly those to Spain, will enable you to get a cabin and have a nice sleep. There are ferry ports all over the UK as well from which you can leave, so you are almost spoilt for choice.
Of course, another reason to go by ferry, and that is that you can take your own car in order to get around your destination. You don't have to worry about car hire, and you can take however much luggage you need, with nobody dictating how many bags you can take or how heavy they can be.
It doesn't matter whether you are travelling for pleasure or travelling for business, staying for a long time or a short time, today is a great time to take your car or yourself abroad on a ferry. Competition between ferry operators is quote fearsome, and you can take advantage of that as long as you understand the differences between the operators, and their pricing structure.
